Question about Ree Drummond's adopted son

I was just on Ree's website (The Pioneer Woman) and she had pictures of taking her son Todd to college. She said she would be an empty nester now. No mention of Jamar, her adopted son. I haven't kept up with her, so I am wondering if she has mentioned what happened to him. Isn't he still part of the family? Did he go off to college. I thought someone on these blogs might know. I don't know how else to find out.

I googled. He left home and went off to college in 2021. From a People magazine article:

Ree Drummond just dropped son Bryce off at college to play football at University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!). The Pioneer Woman hasn’t even had time to accept that Bryce has moved away, and now she has to make plans for another one to leave the nest. That’s right, Ree and Ladd’s bonus kid Jamar is officially heading off to the University of Central Oklahoma this fall!

This morning Jamar officially signed to play football at @ucobronchos starting this fall. 🙌 I’m so proud of him and so grateful for his friends, coaches, and community for supporting him in countless ways. Thank you. Her current website says son, Todd just left home to play football at the U. of S. Dakota. So that explains why she is an empty nester. Thank you for explaining what happened to Jamar.

I know this young man lived with the Drummonds for some time, but I didn't think Ree and Ladd actually adopted him. Maybe I'm wrong.

I did not believe either that they had officially adopted him.

Jamar looks like a strapping lad (Ladd). I wish him much success at UCO!

I guess I haven't watched her show in quite awhile because I didn't know they had adopted a child (or had one living with them).

i did not know she has five children, including jamar (according to wikipedia, jamar is their foster son.)
