Sure, his accessorizing was over the top, but it was all impeccably made.
Then, why?

I've got to say that this season I'm finding some of the designers, and even Christian, who I love, to be somewhat annoying.
They seem to be (to quote The Eagles) "just too busy being fabulous", and it comes off as an insincere affectation.
Hester tops that list.

Maybe it's me. IDK.

It's not you, this season is off. I start to watch and fall asleep.

I forgot to mention something.

Did anyone else notice what Korto and Rami said to the group when they were all out having drinks?

Korto was complaining about Christian, saying he didn't show as much enthusiasm to her as he did to another returning designer, & Rami said he was surprised (that being an OG) he hadn't been welcomed back in a grander way.

Oh, give me a break.

Would they have the same degree of celebrity if not for PR?

Would Rami have dressed royalty in Jordan if not for PR?

I did love Korto's cape & headwrap, but when she was being judged on the runway, she said more than once that she just wanted to be 'seen'.

For heaven's sake! She's been on PR twice before and both times finished second!

She has been seen & praised many, many times.

I thought that was kind of a fun challenge last night. I was glad Brittany redeemed herself and totally agreed with who went home. Nina was having none of their excuses "I've never used this fabric before". I remember learning to sew and you used about the cheapest fabric you could get. I made a LOT of cotton drawstring skirts. . .

I agreed with both the winner, & the loser.

What did you think of the drama over Anna's ruffled dress?

IMO, the angry designers sounded like a bunch of snotty, petty elementary school children. It is NOT their business how the judges feel about a particular design.

Anna uses ruffles, & considers it a signature look. So what?!

We've had designers who consistently used vinyl (latex?), or macrame, and a few who mainly made caftans.

If that's their thing, then so what?!

Korto was way out of line saying 'This is going to divide us." I hope she's never brought back again. She needs to get over herself.

Kara Saun was the voice of reason.

I hope that this season isn't indicative of where we've come. If it is, I'm out.

@sabatini I agree. I never liked Korto, and last night, she showed her true colors, so I hope she goes home soon. I didn't think she deserved to be in the finals during her season, but I think the judges feared they would have been criticized and called racists, and Korto would have had a break down.

Korto is one whopping sourpuss, a glass-half-full woman, and her attitude is poisonous.

She did herself no favors here.

I totally agreed with Korto, Brandon Maxwell, Christian Siriano and most of the rest of competing designers that Ana's ruffles have been done to death and repeated in a recent challenge. Even Ana, herself, realized that her design was likely to get her sent home.

That said, I think Ana is a fantastic designer. However, for this episode, she was not one of the top three. She didn't deserve the hostility. For those who felt so strongly and wanted to express their opinions, they needed to have directed their comments to the ones who actually had voting power, the judges.

I think this season of designers is questionable. All of them using the same color and material brought out their talent or lack thereof. I thought Ana's dress was terrible with all those ruffles. It looked like a design from outer space. The ruffles made no sense and it was so short.

I was glad Brittany won. Her design was done very well..Korto does have an attitude problem but I understood her viewpoint.. The one designer had the skirt so short that she needed the extra long skirt to cover up her design flaw. The judges thought it was great!!!

IMHO, these designers are not up to par. It appears many have no taste or lack of skills. It does make me wonder how they make a living in the real world. The one designer did a basket weave top and pants. I thought that was innovative. It looked nice.

My only gripe is the judges. I exclude the guest judges. I liked last weeks guest judge. He should replace Elaine. She is the worst. Hester's outfit was a mess in the dark in the light does not matter. Elaine gives her false hope JMO.
I miss Michael Kors as a judge. He was the best. He was critical but fair and knew a great design.

I like Fabio and Rami. I do not think they should have been in the bottom.
I liked Brittany's design I was glad she won. And happy Hester was sent packing.

I thought the red fabric challenge was to put everyone on a level playing field and Christian telling them you do your best you.

If that was it then none of them had a right to carry on the way they did about what Ana designed. I don't remember her from her season but apparently she's a ruffle designer?
