I loved and enjoyed for about the first 16 or 17 seasons. Got sick sick sick of Klum and without Tim it just wasn't good. I'm amazed it's still around.

I remember the season Christian Soriano won. He was and is really creative.

I have the timer set. I have been waiting for this for what seems like forever. I really enjoy the banter between Christian Siriano and the contestants. (It amuses me that some do not heed his advice.)

@Love my grandkids, I got sick of Heidi AND Tim.

IMO, he almost became a caricature of himself.

For me, his slow demise began when he got his own (short lived) spin-off show. Do you remember it? It was his version of 'What Not to Wear', & always began in a woman's underwear drawer. Ridiculous!

Et tu, Tim Gunn? Yup!

Do you remember when he quipped to a designer 'That skirt is so short I can see her v-g--a!'?

I really hate it when people use that term to describe a too short outfit. It's not only crass, but anatomically inaccurate & impossible!

I like Christian as a mentor.

Thanks for the information, I use to watch that show every season!

Just as I hardly pay any attention to the QVC hosts or let them personally bother me (I shop QVC for clothes, jewelry, food, decor, etc., NOT the hosts), I never let TV program hosts affect me either.

I watch Dancing with the Stars for the dancing and the choreography--I watch Project Runway for the designs and the fashions.

I am sure there will be people complaining about Pat Sajak leaving Wheel of Fortune, but in the scheme of lfe, hosts are important, but the players and the game is what makes the show!

While this is true, @FancyPhillyshopper, each part does make a difference, as a show's success is the sum of its parts.

In PR's earlier years, the poised, natty Tim Gunn advised designers with an air of dignified propriety and grace. His presence alone brought the show up a notch or two.

The earlier judges were formidable too, but over the years were slowly replaced by the occasional top designer, but more often by celebrities & influencers, some who needed a makeover themselves.

Of course, I still watch the show to see the designers, but do miss the days of when PR was a powerhouse!

I'll be watching, but I do think the show has devolved since the days of Heidi and Tim.  Too many episodes relying on some cause du jour et al.

@Icegoddess  I agree 100% about the causes. I stopped watching one season because of it.  I know I didn't watch last year, so I'm not sure about this year.

Some of these designers I really disliked are back.  The one that has changed the most in looks is Kayne I think and Nora.  I didn't remember her from the first season and I know why now.  She had dark hair and a punk look.  Rami who's my favorite has changed the least.
