I think you meant Marquise. Geoffrey had the really tall muscular volleyball player.

The athlete for Marquise wanted to look like a woman, not a little girl as she has always felt she looked due to her limited choice in clothing, but I think she did look like a little girl in that dress.
I am so glad Nancy won, she deserved it.
The rest were nothing special, but I did think Bethany's dress looked good on that particular woman.

Nancy definitely deserved that win! She had the best dress which was beautiful and functional for her client.
None of the others impressed me.
Sergio's was ok. Not a fan of his attitude, but his dress was better than the others.
I did not like Victoria being in the top. The judges love her, but to me it’s just another asymmetrical short cutout dress. Show something else! Very sweet of her DH to send her roses for her birthday.
Marquis’s petite model looked like a child in his dress. I did not like Brittany’s black sequin dress with the deep v-neck. Geoffry’s looked too shiny and a bit tacky to me.
Two people are going to go home next week since they kept everyone.
In the past I had a favorite designer to root for, but I’m not really that attached to any of the designers this season. Nancy would be the oldest finalist ever if she gets to the finals. I think it would be fun to see her win.

I liked all of the looks this episode but can't say I loved any of them except for Brittany's but, as the judges pointed out, it's nothing new.
I'm glad Nancy won. However, when her athlete came down the runway, I thought she was going home. I just didn't care for the overall look. However, in looking at the picture of it from the link above, I could see a little more detail and it looks ten times better up close. I dion't understand the train though but then maybe her athlete asked for it. I was doing other things and basically only saw the runway portion until the end. I loved that Nancy thought out every single detail.
Geoffrey is my favorite. I loved his dress but felt it would have been better in a different material and with a redo of the bust area. Victoria.....same dress concept AGAIN. UGH!

Loved Nancy's. She made her athlete look like a neo-Rennaisance princess, and as if her wheelchair were merely a mobile version of her royal throne. Loved that.
Victoria again. In the past several episodes I've had some sort of problem with her. This time it was that skirt length. Not a dress for a real world application. If that athlete tries to go salsa dancing in that...She's going to be ultra popular for all the wrong reasons.
The other designs didn't make a particular impression on me. But I liked the challenge overall.

@shoptilyadropagain Yes, Nancy's athlete asked for a train. Nancy gave her everything she asked for.

This was a nice episode. The designers really wanted them to feel special. It would of been odd if a designer went home when everyone loved their looks. Not a big deal to have 2 go home next week anyway. Sergio is arrogant but Victoria is just selfish.

I was not impressed with any of them to be honest with you. They were just plain old dresses and nothing special.
I liked Nancy's the best because she had the most challenging and thought it out but hated the color and the braiding. Elaine thought so too.
Brittany - she's got to keep her mouth shut when she's off stage. She said something derogatory to Sergio but can't recall what. As for her dress, nothing that I haven't seen before and the women looked very uncomfortable walking down the aisle but she liked it.
I liked Sergio's and thought the back was pretty but very simple.
Victoria- Same, old, same old design. It thought where the cutout was was a little wonky when they showed a close up on the runway. The athlete is from my town Rockville, MD. Yay! She's so adorable.
Marquise's was just too junior-ish and she is so petite that it made her look even younger.
It has to be a double elimination next week. They all need to step it up!!

We mentioned during the runway portion that we thought no one should go home because evedry athlete loved their dress. Victoria didn't seem to view it the same way. She is NASTY and just needs to go! I'm really glad Nancy won. She had one of the tougher assignments and I thought the outcome was brilliant.... so well thought out.

Ah, okay. I've slept since then, so I guess I did a brain dump.
