I'm so happy that Dmitry won. I would have been happy with Sonjai as well, but I really wanted Dmitry to win. I already ordered a top and a jacket from QVC from his collection. I wish QVC had been able to get Mondo to design some things; I'd have been all over those too.
I cannot believe the expectations for these poor designers. Design and sew an 8 piece collection in 4 days? Even with help, that is a lot of work. At least give them a month for crying out loud. I really hate what the new producers have done with the timelines. I'd prefer that they invested a little more money and give the designers 2 day challenges with 1 day challenges being the exception, rather than the norm.
I liked Helen's collection, but it was way too young for me. Wednesday Adams meets Coco Chanel. LOL.
I liked Sonjai's collection too. I was digging the coat and the jumpsuit. I would not be able to wear either one, but I really liked the look. Her collection was totally her point of view and I could see her wearing all of the looks.
Overall, it was a good season. Please no more Helen or Kate.

I was pleased with the results.

Did anyone watch the Q fashion show on Feb 13th? 4 of Dmitri's fashions were in the show.
Momshan.... I also am affected by the personailities.... however, I have watched all of their seasons and see a little of what has led them to become who they are....
I have never really cared for Helen's designs.... no matter who she is as a person.... she seemed to do the same thing over and over.... and it didn't please me....
I love Sonji's sense of color etc.... she is young and hopefully will grow....
Dmitri has a concept that goes with his personality.... sadly I don't think it fits a shopping channel..... the one that I saw that I thought wouldn't do well was one with fringe at the wrist.... I could see myself wearing that and reaching to get something and getting the fringe tangled in something.... or getting some food on it.... the neckline was beautiful..... but it wasn't practical....

Helen was so cringing and mousey. Sonjai was cute (even with the blue lipstick) so I gravitated to her clothes. I guess I would be a bad judge. LOL
Yep, same here. DH and I watched and both agreed that Dmitry had a 'holier than thou' attitude, but just our opinion.
We were hoping Sonjia would win. I guess that makes us bad judges too LOL.

Meaning the person always did the same design. I like his cool aloofness and he seems a little shy. I thought he did well talking on QVC when I saw him with Courtney. He does have more selections online. I bought the top with the black and purple swirls and the jacket in graphite with the black swirls on the sleeves. The pants looked a little too slim cut for me and all the dresses are too short. I'm interested to see where he goes from here.
Dimitry is my kind of person and clearly the best designer.
