Project Runway: 1/22/15 episode (spoilers)

I know there are other threads, but those are focused on Lisa, which is fine, but I want to comment on the whole show. Lol. I agree with Sonji's win. In fact, I bought the skirt already in charcoal. I hope it fits, since they posted zero sizing info. Typical QVC. I loved both looks. I loved the dress, but she could have left out the jacket. It was about time for Jay to go home. Lol at Michelle. Send in the clowns was all I could think of when I saw them. I did like the puffy sleeves though. Isaacs face was priceless when he was watching the looks go down the runway.

I did not like Michelle's outfits at all, not even the puffy sleeves. Maybe if she had done it in a different print, but I thought the color and pattern choice was awful.

I think the right person went home last night.

Did you think she made it worse by how she lined it up? Michelle with her godawful pattern, I mean. I think that by doing that, from a distance it looked very clownish.

cosmic.... I laughed when I read your post.... clownish....

I was on the edge about all of the designers.... I mean who is gonna buy a neoprene outfit? and the other dress was so short you could see the girl's undies.....

I could go on about all of them.... but I didn't really care for any of them....

To win when you cut squares out of an outfit.... that reminds me of the Indian gal, Patricia.... so crafty.... I just didn't find it a winner.

As far as personality goes, I'm not sure if anyone left would fit QVC - and that IS part of the prize package! I suppose Sonjia's personality would fit the best. Michelle actually has a dry sarcastic humor that I kind of like (when she's not being too mean!) Dimitri does great construction, but can he dumb down for a Q audience? He didn't last night - although what is neoprene made of? Perhaps a new fabric for Susan G will be "neo"knit?

It was a lose-lose for the designers and QVC. You can't do edgy high fashion clothing and something that the average QVC customer will want to buy. Oil and water. I liked Sanji's(spelling?) gray skirt and top but I wouldn't buy it as I get more and more casual each year.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Lol at SG and neoprene knit. It will literally shed water! Last year when Seth Aaron won, I thought he would be hard for the QVC viewers, but he toned way down. I think if Dimitry had won, they would have used different fabric. Neoprene allows him to get clean and structured lines without needing hems. They only give the designers a day to design and sew their outfits and people get criticized for frayed hemlines. Neoprene doesn't have that problem. I think that is why he uses it. Any of the designers left, except Helen, would be okay. She's toast for insulting the QVC customer.

I started watching it but went channel surfing and forgot about it. I did see Lisa for 2 minutes.

Those outfits were interesting.

I have to applaud those designers for being able to sketch, pick out the fabric and sew these outfits in such a short amount of time. However Michelle went over the top with using so much of that print if she had did a blouse or skirt maybe but top to bottom was too much.

Prints are always a risk. None of the looks fit with qvc.
