One of my faves, the end always makes me cry, Nolte was perfect for this role.

It's airing again tonight on TVGN at 7:30 ET.

Airing right before ""Prince of Tides"" is ""The Mirror Has Two Faces"" at 5:00 ET. Another really good movie.

I was able to watch this yesterday. Plus I watched Funny Lady a little earlier. I'm watching a lot of TVGN on the weekends lately. These classic shows/movies are filling the voids I've been missing from TV Land and TCM. Hope they keep this up!

Both movies are really good. I recently watched a 70's movie with Barbara Streisand called ""On a Clear Day You Can See Forever"" and it was really good if you like musicals. Love Streisand in just about anything she does. Thanks for the heads up..

Famous scene from the movie . . . after he's done telling the doc (Barbra) what happened and he collects himself and sings "Tha's whut ah like about the South." I'll never forget it.

IF you can get the audiobook read by John-Boy of the Waltons, it is wonderful. Just don't listen to it in the car if you're driving. I had to pull over and finish it was I was crying so hard.

What a shame that POT came up empty at the Oscars in 1992, had 7 noms.
