You are missing out on some great movies--GWTW, Casablanca for sure.  Movie making at its best.  Try them, you might like them!!!

The Godfather - I've tried but can never do it. I always seem to walk in while others are watching it at a couple of different points but always the same parts lol.

I never saw any of the Star Wars or Star Trek films. I just wasn't interested. On the other hand, I saw a few so-called classics that I thought were way overblown with praise, e.g., Titanic. A Night to Remember, made years before, was much better.

Most of the movies where the setting is a battlefield,  just not into 'war' movies.  Also have never seen "Titanic".  Often I find that after seeing many clips and interviews with the actors, I no longer desire to see the movie in its entirety.

Recently I've been watching some westerns which never appealed to me either.

@KBEANS   Oh geez, westerns.  My husband never saw a western he didn't like.

No movies, no problem, I would come in the living romm and he would have Gunsmoke, Bonanza or the Rifleman on.

I hightailed it to the kitchen to putter.

I scan our movie schedules every Monday, looking for movies of long ago we never saw, or saw so many years ago and liked.

We also like documentary series.  But we also enjoy cute and light-hearted old movies, such as Pillow Talk with Doris Day.

I personally enjoy the Brit series and want to subscribe to Britbox.
