@antiquarian  Chances Are is another one of my favorites!  When Phillip & Alex are fighting & Alex says he's Louis & Phillip says then he is Cleopatra & Alex says "You are not but you sure fight like her."

LOL

Lots of fun moments in this movie, @Dusty1 -- and I love that it's also so heartfelt. =======

I love Two for the Road, a 1967 British romantic comedy-drama film directed by Stanley Donen and starring Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. The film is about a husband and wife who examine their twelve-year relationship while on a road trip to Southern France.

I love an oldie called "Since You Went Away."  Claudette Colbert's husband is away fighting in WWII, and she and her daughters take in boarders to make ends meet.  Monty Woolley, Jennifer Jones, and Joseph Cotten are all in it.

[ Edited ]

Imitation of Life (1959) version. I have the DVD, and take it out every Christmas to watch for some reason.

I still cry at the ending.

Lana Turner

Sandra Dee

I forgot to add Terms of Endearment & Steel Magnolias. They may be known but they are still excellent movies.
