Dr. Death is a new tv miniseries from the Peacock network.
The subject matter of this is "my cup of tea".
I was not familiar with this story even though I lived right in the very midst of this when it took place.
A surgeon who was maiming his surgical patients is now serving a prison sentence.
Some of the scenes are hard to watch, as he botches surgery after surgery. Even so, this is central to the plot.
The acting in this show is fabulous (Joshua Jackson; Alec Baldwin; Christian Slater; Kelsey Grammer; Grace Gummer; Anna Sophia Robb. Director: Jennifer Morrison)
All of the cities mentioned are familiar to me. Little did I know about any of this when I lived there.
Dr. Christopher Dunsch is Dr. Death. The show mentions that he is a sociopath and narcissist. What is unique to my way of thinking is that Dr. Dunsch seems to become confused any time he is required to use bodily skills to do anything...such as he doesn't know left from right. This is an apparent "oddity" to me but the show very clearly states that this is happening.
Hightly recommend; 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s

I started watching last week. It is very good. I had listened to the Podcast.
It amazes me how long he got away with what he was doing.

I started watching Dr. Death last week and I'm hooked. I love watching shows that are based on actual events that took place. I simply cannot believe that he got away with what he did for as long as he did. So many turned a blind eye, so to speak.
Any who, the actors are all fantastic, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the outcome is for the narcissisistic "doctor".

Watched the series and my thoughts were exactly the same as the other posters. Such good acting in each role. Interesting!

It appears that Christopher Dunsch has a neurological disorder that falls under the heading of "dysgraphia".
This is demonstrated by the inability to distinguish right from left.
Surgery anyone?
I am interested in the podcast next.
Did he really take and score high marks on the MCAT or did he fake that too?
He was not a BOARD CERTIFIED PHYSICIAN!

I'll probably wait til the end of the season. I'm not a fan of waiting every week after week.
A lot depends on what my daughter wants to watch.
She usually doesn't like true life crimes. Might be one I'll watch in my bedroom.
Thanks for the good synopsis 😁

Comcast (xfinity) is my provider. Peacock is free here at this point.
The remote which accepts verbal requests says just as speak this into it.
I tried choosing the button in the middle that you press to see your recordings, then scroll down until you get to the tv series/movie offerings.

Hi! The series is already over. So far, there is only one season.
Eight episodes
Very "medical"
There is also the podcast which started all of the fact-finding was one of those news stories which will probably go down in history (kind of like Bernstein's coverage of Democratic National headquarters back in the 60's, was it?
