I remember her from the Danny Thomas Show and also in Cinderella with Lesley Ann Warren. She was funny.

She will always be Ursula from The Little Mermaid. They can remake that movie as much as they want. They can do ANOTHER live edition of it. Disney and ABC have already given us one and now they're working on another with Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.) 

Pat Carroll will always be the only Ursula in our opinions.

She was always a hoot. I enjoyed her in "With Six You Get Eggroll". She played Doris Day's sister, Maxine. Also starred Brian Keith, George Carlin and Barbara Hershey. RIP.

We named our cat Esmerelda after the other stepsister,  played by Barbara Ruick.

I just read her obit in the NY Times.  I did not realize she was such an accomplished stage actress.  Quite a career aside from the TV games shows.

@beach-mom  She was quoted as saying she was proudest of her role as Ursula in The Little Mermaid.
