Thanks a million. This seems like FUN!!!
There was a recent notification about "compromised" data on the Shopping Snark forum website, so there was a recommendation to change passwords. You may want to monitor that if you set up an account.

I NEVER, EVER saw any examples of anyone "disrespecting" or not including any points of view or remarks about people with differing opinions and/or backgrounds.
The boards flourished with multiple comments about the shows I watch each and every day. MULTIPLE...
FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON, the website went through a "revamp" a few months ago. It was shut down for a number of days and came back COMPLETELY CHANGED.
The FIRST THING THEY DID WAS TO ELIMINATE the SHOPPING CHANNELS from comment or inclusion.
Who knows who the mods are now? Who knows the "influencers" or "consultants" who have apparently taken it over.
All I know is that the forum is now so "watered down" with rules, regulations, protocols, procedures and micromanaging, it is virtually unrecognizable. There are zero comments for most of my shows and 1 or 2 for a very few others.
I'm at the point of disengaging because the responses are so sparce and rapidly disappearing altogether, so it's really not worth my time.
@pdlinda You can find many of your answers by reading the Primetimer ChitChat forum on Reddit. It appears there were many reports & inappropriate posts from new posters about the PrimeTimer Shopping forum. Same thing happened on the Royals forum. Because it took a lot of manpower to monitor the shopping forum, it was closed. However, the people who had been posting there for a long time got along, so there are questions about who those new posters were and if it was an organized effort across the website since the Royals forum was impacted in a similar manner.
Primetimer sent out a survey a few months before it closed Shopping Channels. It was revealed that the majority of posters were older white females - which is not the demographic the people running the website was hoping to attract for their advertisers, so that's another reason to close the shopping forum.
Some of the former Primetimer mods set up a new website. I checked it a few months ago & it didn't look like there's much participation. Unless it's been deleted, there's a lot of commentary in the Reddit Primetimer ChitChat forum about why mods left and who's running the website now.
I'm still posting at Primetimer on different TV show forums. Some of my favorite shows have ended, so I'm not posting as much, but I'm open to posting some more there because they have better conversations about TV shows than any other website I've seen.
As for discussion about shopping channels, there are lots of places out there besides the Shopping Snark forum like Facebook, Reddit, Discord, and that new website started by the former PT mods. It doesn't take long to determine if it's going to be a group of people you want to post with. As with other places, you'll encounter diehard QVC & HSN fans and cheerleaders along with those that have nothing positive to say. There are some that have different usernames & different personalities depending on where they're posting, so that can make it interesting or annoying.
