Thank you for the reminder! I just LOVE this series. September seems to have flown by and I will have to binge watch Series 2 today and tomorrow so I can remember just what is going on!

I loved the original Poldark series, the one that PBS stations ran for years and years after they stopped production on it, I think.

Poldark was Robin Something? Charismatic and dashing. "Demelza" very charming also.

Winston Graham, who wrote the Poldark saga, must have been quite eclectic, since he wrote books like "Marnie" which became a Hitchcock film, etc.

Has anybody here seen the first series as well as this one? How do they compare?

I can hardly wait for the new Season of Poldark. It has been such a long time coming. Can't wait to see how Elizabeth passes the baby off as George's baby. Also FYI Robin Ellis who was the first Poldark back in the 70's plays Rev. Halse in this series.
