I love Peyton Place fabulous movie. In my town where I grew up my friends mom stopped Picnic from playing she said it was filth. She ruined it for all of us. My friend was absolutely horrified. I never watched the whole movie. I  will now.

@phoenixbrd.  🙂  I actually never liked Picnic. I may watch Peyton Place (loved the TV show in the 1960s) but as I recall the last time I watched the movie a few years ago, I only thought it was OK. May give it another view if I'm home at 8pm.

I've always felt that the dance scene in the park between William Holden and Kim Novak is very seductive.
