PBS Nova: "Secret Mind of Slime"

I just watched this and highly recommend it. Can single cell slime make decisions? Apparently so. Remember the 1950s movie "The Blob?"

Maybe it's better that you don't.

The revelations of scientists/physicists in the last few years are so interesting...thanks for this recommendation.

Re: PBS Nova: "Secret Mind of Slime"

@PickyPicky3   The program on PBS "Nature" was on just before this slimy show. It was about the life cycle of butterflies and (do not laugh) how intelligent they are in getting nectar, spreading joy in also unexpectantly gathering pollen to pollinate other plants. Think about how many new plant/flower species that we don't even know about.

Anyway, Nova afterwards followed about slime, a particular slime and how fast it grows itself. This was a rerun as I've seen this before. I chose to not watch it again but boy, it was/is very interesting for sure.

When you get over the "ick" factor it is a facinating study. I will look at slime a little closer now and maybe have a conversation.  LOL
