Re: PAT SAJAK RECOVERING FROM EMERGENCY SURGERY

I love Sajak's wit. We watch both WOF and Jeopardy every night, and I'm happy he's on the mend.

Yes, I am glad he is on the mend and will be back hosting as usual.

I saw on Tv that this will be the 2nd time in 35+ years that Vanna will host.  I look forward to seeing her host for a change.  I think they are both very likeable people - Pat Sajak is very quick witted and has a silly sense of humor (which I njoy) and we really don't get to hear too much from Vanna, so this will be fun.

I've been watching Wheel and Jeopardy every evening for awhile now and I look forward to both shows Mon thru Sat.

I am sorry he is sick.... however, I think he is getting old... and I think it is time to replace him.  He repeats things often and laughs at his own jokes and sometimes is not kind....

Dec. 9 is the start date for Vanna to be hosting.  This is her first time hosting an entire episode.  She filled in partially for one episode one time when Pat could not finish due to laryngitis.

I think it will be fun to see Vanna.

All the best to Pat.  WOF would not be the same if he ever retires.

Remember the old days of WOF when the winner would buy things on stage???

@Cakers3  I loved the ceramic dalmation.  Wasn't that when Chuck Woolery was the host?

@deepwaterdotter   I"m not sure.  I don't remember Chuck Woolery hosting WOF.

I do remember Roseanne had one in one of the episodes on her original show.

We watch both these game shows,so we just call it the Wheel of Jeopardy.

Re: PAT SAJAK RECOVERING FROM EMERGENCY SURGERY

Vanna began her hosting gig this week. I'd read that she said she was terrified--it's definitely different from what she's used to. She was a little stiff Monday, but she's getting the hang of it.

Minnie and Mickey (with, presumably, more Disney characters to come) have been "uncovering" the letters, which pretty much amounts to pointing at the board. Vanna doesn't have to walk across the stage, after all lol!

Anyway, Pat Sajak is expected to return December 30. I already miss his wit.

I don't think Pat needs to worry about his job.  I know Vanna is nervous, but it is now the third day and she is still looking at her cards many times for each puzzle.
