@Oznell  This was on the CBS Sunday Morning TV show.

As soon as I saw it I thought of you!  If you missed this segment, go here.

It talks a little about some of your old movies and the 'magic' the back drops provided and how they're finally being saved.

Oh, @Annabellethecat66 -- fabulous!   What an exciting enterprise!    Love that they showed one of my favorite backdrops, the "monumental" skyline from "The Fountainhead",  and so many other priceless artifacts from the Great Age of Hollywood,  the "Brigadoon" paintings, the "Wizard of Oz" and on and on...

It had never occurred to me that there needed to be a recovery project for these classic backdrop paintings, but how wonderful that there is, and that there are people who value them as essential parts of the great old movies.

I never watch CBS Sunday Morning, so would have missed this for sure--  thank you for bringing to my attention.  Pure magic!
