After a long, long absence, Outlander Season 8 will air on Starz on March 6, 2026.

The season consists of 10 episodes and will release one at a time on Fridays.

It has been so long I need to watch Season 7 to remember what was happening.

I no longer remember where it left off either.  Though this was once one of my favorite shows I'm glad this is the last season because of this.

I'm still waiting for the House of the Dragon to come back. I do not like the new show called, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms which supposedly is about the boy called Egg and how he became King Aegon V Targaryen. I will be removing that from my lineup.

@Mersha   I don't have Starz and have been watching it on Netflix but the last season released to them was season 7, part 1. Netflix wont have season7 part 2 until 2027 and season 8 wont be available until 2028. Talk about a long wait but Im not willing to pay for another service. I have Hulu and Netflix and for now that's it!

I am enjoying Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. It is more focussed on the small folk rather than the royals. The two leads have great chemistry.

Egg is royalty.  He is Aegon Targaryen who runs away from his royal family to pursue adventures whereupon he meets Dunk.

LOL, you mean you didn't happen to notice all the eye rolling from the boy because he was smarter than Dunk, and how he was always correcting Dunk and the ire he received from a humiliated Dunk who always was threatening to box his ears.  The boy was not a commoner yet Dunk was and a moron which Egg hilariously points out many times.

So are only royal people smart? There is nothing in the series to indicate that Egg is a Targaryen.

This is a prequel to House of Dragons and also Game of Thrones.  Put your thinking cap on dear.
