I don't have Ovation, but I LOVED a place to call home when it was shown on PBS.  But, I don't know if our local station just decided not to run the final season, or if it wa cancelled.  There were things not resolved and I wanted more.

A Place to Call Home is also on Acorn.  It is a wonderful series.  It it worth your time.  It is from Australia.

     After trying for several months to get the last 2 seasons of 'A Place' On Demand, I was finally able to complete the series!!  Such a excellent show!!  Liked that all the main characters were developed throughout the series!! Am so sorry that it is over...would love more!!

i watched "a place to call home" but i had to get all seasons (6-7 total) from the library. so good! i also got "jack irish" to see if i like that series.
