I love Outlander!!!!   So much that I wait to watch the episodes on Starz until I have at least 2 of them, 1 is just not enough, LOL.    It really is an addictive show and makes you go through all kinds of emotions.  I adore Scotland (of course I have some Scottish blood)  and have been fortunate enough to visit twice.  I actually got to visit the castle where many of the scenes were filmed, it was very exciting.   Such a beautiful place, talk about addicting, I would go again in a heartbeat!

@LindaSal   Sounds amazing & I would love to go someday!

When DH and I first got married in 1982 (before the internet) my mother in law who was Irish/Scottish mentioned often that Lord Simon Fraser who was the last person to be beheaded in the Tower of London was a distant relative.  I was curious but had forgotten when they told me.

Now however after watching Outlander, Lord Simon Fraser is mentioned (he's a main character in one of the episodes on season 2) I'm more curious than ever....will have to bring up the subject with my sister in law soon.
