I had recorded Jaws off TBS or one of hose channels, not HBO etc.

Richard Dreyfuss character was telling the mayor, "I pulled a tooth the size of a shot glass out of the wrecked hull of a boat."

My CC had, "I pulled a tooth the size of a shot glass out of the rectal of a boat."

I burst out laughing so loud I scared the bajeebers out of Petunia.

Huh, what? Ouch, lol. Someone needs to see the actual script when doing CC.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 - I use CC a lot on the bedroom TV. DH and I have opposite schedules, and I don't want to wake him up. Usually I watch old comedies I'm familiar with, but it's amazing how many words are mixed up- AND how many are actually left out.

Closed Caption makes me laugh. Sometimes I have to rewind to see what was said.

I heard that it's transcribed automatically by "machines" rather than by humans. So it all depends on the "word" it sometimes hears it differently.

Sounds like the texts I receive from one of my sisters since she uses speech to text. It does not know what she is saying. I have to try & figure it out. I told my sister she should read her texts before she sends them.
