Sounds like Oprah wants to be the next Barbara Walters. Never! Big pass on Oprah.

Barbara Walters was a groundbreaking pioneer, but Oprah's accomplishments have far surpassed those of Barbara Walters. Just say you don't like her and leave it at that.

I don’t think she surpassed Barbara Walters. Barbara paved the way for women. Oprah included.

I would love to read the book written by Lisa and finished by her daughter, but Oprah is a joke, not interested in anything she puts on the air.

@manny2 Oprah is a media mogul and her own brand, Barbara Walters was never that. Of course Barbara Walters helped pave the way, that's what a pioneer does.

Barbara Walters was in the oval office with Presidents in the '60's, Oprah was in a room full of housewives in the '80's.  Barbara's accomplishments in her career outweigh  Ophra's talk show status.

@beckyb1012 Barbara Walters was a journalist, Oprah was a talk show host who parlayed that into her own production studio and cable television network. She employs thousands of people and is a household name. I can only guess why one would feel the need to diminish the accomplishments of one woman to elevate those of another. Both women are giants in their own right.

Exactly why Barbara accomplishments are much greater, thank you for seeing that.

I used to not mind Oprah, but after her three hour hate fest against Weight Watchers with their smarmy CEO that just got fired, she borderline disgusts me now.
