Not happy with NCIS from 01/06/2015 - spoiler included

It they had to kill off an ex-wife, it should have been the one we were introduced to last night, Rebecca (Jeri Ryan), not Diane. We, the viewers are invested in Diane, know her. She has a daughter with Fornell. I am not happy with this.

I loved it!!!!! She has a very complex relationship with Gibbs and Fornell. Remember Gibbs was her Shannon, her one love she could never not be in contact with. As for the one we met last night I like the actress just not the character.

That's why it would have been better to kill Rebecca instead of Diane. Oh, I realize we have lost many beloved characters along the way, but I would prefer to have lost Rebecca, not Diane.

I do like the way they wrote the story...with the parallel to the other characters, which I caught on to right away at the diner. I immediate said to my husband "Jenny."

I like her character and the actress and I think they did a great job. I was shocked, I thought this was where Gibbs would save the day. That said, I liked that is was not predictable and I was surprised. Her character had really grown on me, but I think this opens the door for some really great writing and exploring the complex relationships between many of the characters in this show.

And I have to say that I thought Jimmy's moment in the morgue was heartbreaking. Very simple and short but one of the most emotional in the show.

Yes, Jimmy's part was heartbreaking and I could see where he might just quit. His character has always been soft hearted.

Cannot wait to see how this will effect Gibbs and Fornell's friendship.

I really enjoyed the episode. I really liked Diane and was sad that she was killed like Kate was. Especially since her character has a daughter with Fornell. Also, the part with Jimmy brought a tear to my eye. I wonder if they will write his character off. He is sensitive and probably more so since his wife is pregnant. I liked Jeri Ryan but she seems to have been a red herring in the episode to throw us off of Sergei trying to take out Gibbs.

I was shocked they killed off Diane. I had hoped they would make her a regular. She brought a real sense of humor and also a soft side for Gibbs. (I loved when she called Magee ""Chuckie"") I agree they should have killed off Rebecca. No one was invested in her yet! I also hate that they killed off Mike. I think he was a good friend to Gibbs - who doesn't have many!
