Nomadland with Frances Mcdormand.

[ Edited ]

I just watched the trailer for this movie , no doubt Frances will be nominated or win Oscar , but i may have to skip this one , it looks way to realistic in todays climate , she plays basically a homeless character that travels from place to place , i would to see her in a comedy next . I need up beat to a certain degree right now.

I really like her...She is such a good actress...Thanks for mentioning this new movie.

Did anyone see her in the HBO series, "Olive Kitteridge"...It is done in 4 episodes...1 hour each...It is a dark, moody type of show but she is excellent in her role, as always.

I loved Olive Kitteridge, I thought about this series long after i saw it , which is a good sign. It scans over several years , Bill Murray is in it , not is traditional character for him. i am just glad i didn't have her as my mother.

I read a book last year titled " Nomadland " ....about people moving

around for jobs ... usually retired people that cannot live on only S.S.

Haven’t watched it yet, but saw that many of the people in it were not actors but actually these nomads.
