I enjoyed this moviie several times. A Richard Gere fan. Not in my top five list because of way it ends. Bridges of Madison County for sure a favorite.

I also love Bridges of MC.  when Meryl sees Eastwood from her car and clutches the door handle, it is gut wrenching.

Re: Nights in Rodanthe

[ Edited ]

We stayed in a house next to the Nights in Rodanthe House 2 years ago.

The house had to be moved about 100 ft back from the ocean due to Hurricane damage.

People walk on the beach and take pictures in front of the house.

If interested you can google info on it ..just look up Inn at Rodanthe.. ..Rodanthe North Carolina.

Oh my goodness! I think you meant Shalene Woodley!

I LOVE HER!

She was almost my favorite in "Big Little Lies" which I am a huge fan!

She just got engaged in real life too!

I believe she got her start for fame in "The Hunger Games?"

'The new romantic movie is called "The Last Letter from Your Lover."

I can hardly wait to watch this!

Looks like it might be on Netflix!

Shailene Woodley wasn't in Hunger Games--that was Jennifer Lawrence but I can see how the two seem somewhat similar. I did read Shailene auditioned to play Katniss Everdeen but the part went to Jennifer instead.

I was really excited to watch "The Last Letter From Your Lover" and it turned out to be just okay imo. The first half was slow but it improved as time went on.

My interest was in the character who played Shailene's husband in the movie, Joe Alwyn. Joe is Taylor Swift's boyfriend so I was interested in how well he would do. I thought he did well but his part was much smaller than the two main characters.

One bit of trivia is that the two lovers used a PO Box to send their letters back and forth. I noticed the PO Box was #13--Taylor's favorite number. Coincidence? I think not. Smiley Happy
