Has been cancelled!

Variety reports that Fox is canceling the John Slattery–led science fiction series NeXt, which had a crew member on the production test positive for the coronavirus back in early March. Fox has only aired two episodes of the series so far, and will air the rest of the completed episodes. Rest in peace.

Next is on tonight at 8:00 and tomorrow night at 8:00 for two hours. I have watched all the episodes, I am not heartbroken it was cancelled.

Me neither.  I knew it was cancelled.  Started out good but went downhill after episode 2.  I only stuck w/it to find out how they are going to kill the A.I.

How much you wanna bet that at the very end, probably during the credits, you are going to see a server w/a blue or red light blink on in some far off country that has a million hidden servers the U.S. is unaware of.

We haven't seen the last 2 episodes but while the premise is interesting, the series began to fall flat.    Just like Mr. Robot-a good series regarding hacking but slipped afterward. 

I would think that although AI is after certain characters, it seems to lack doing anything else besides going after certain characters.

I expected more "intelligence".

So tonight is the series finale.  We watched yesterday's episode on HULU.this afternoon.

I guess since it says "series finale" it will all be tied up and will not leave us with a cliff-hanger.

At least they canceled with a finale instead of leaving us wondering with a season finale.

Ahh so there was a cliffhanger.  neXt is being revived by some unidentified person.

Paul is probably alive, too.

Yet we will never know now.
