Re: New season of Call the Midwife

The new season, #10, is set in 1966.  The original season was set in 1957, so each season is set one year later than the previous one.

I enjoy the series and am looking forward to seeing it again.

But I did like it better in the beginning when it was farther removed from present day.  It was more interesting to me to see (and remember) how things were back then.  I wish they hadn't advanced it so quickly, but I suppose they weren't expecting such a long run.

Well, it was back in 2018.

It would be nice to know the amount of time necessary to elapse before discussion of shows is no longer curtailed by fear of spoiling it for someone.

I rarely chime in on tv or movie discussions anymore for that very reason.
