I am surprised they chose Ryan Seacrest...he must have connections in high places.  I thought Vanna who have gotten the position and maybe select a male to to turn the letters.

No, you aren't.  I used to watch it to wind down and have dinner ....  more entertaining and less stressful than the nightly news.

.    I'm in the older demographic and I can connect with him just fine.  I think he will do a good job.

Not a fan of him.  I don't blame Vanna for seeking counsel.  She should!  From what we hear she was making a ton less than the former host.  Not fair!  And you know when Ryan comes on board they will be paying him a boat load of cash!  You go for it, Vanna!

I read that Ryan Seacrest got the job because Pat Sajak wanted him to take over when he leaves.

I'm not familiar with RS because I don't happen to watch anything he's been on so far.  I do like the show so I guess we'll see how he does when he starts.

I do not understand the angst over Vanna's earnings on WOF.

She has made millions from licensing her face on WOF video games and other WOF advertising and although she does not own the company made money, again, with Vanna's yarn.

She also made more with her real estate dealings 

Her house in 2017 was worth $47mil.

I do not understand why she received no raises but certainly the execs did not exclude her from promotional venues.

Pat Sajak is also a producer so perhaps touching letters vs. Pat's job is not equal.  Equal pay for equal work?
