New Upcoming I.D. Network Detective Show

So...I've been seeing lots of promos for a new show starting soon, starring an ex Bronx detective.  Is strikes me that I.D. is trying for another success like Homicide Hunter, except I already don't like this guy who says "I remember every arrest I've ever made"  (like Joe Kenda does)   nearly as much as Kenda.  Kenda is very smart and I love his dry humor.  This new guy doesn't strike me the same way.   I'll probably watch it once or twice to at least give it a chance, but so far it seems like I.D. is trying to copy Homicide Hunter because it is popular.
