@HisElk1 are you sure the information is correct on who she picks I thought they keep that information under wraps? I forget the name of the guy who Rachel went to meet his parents and they gave her a hard time. They didn't seem to like her much ( I can't blame parents for wanting to protect their child from a broken heart), I would find it hard to be with someone whose family doesn't like me. I feel when you marry someone you marry the family too, you don't want to be the wife that kept her husband away from his family.

If one of my *children* went on a show like this, what would I expect?

That they want to be *known* for looking for love or being picked to be loved---on national television.

So, I'm not going to scold them or get nasty with anyone in front of a TV camera.

I'd have to bite my tongue, remain cordial and know that they wanted to be part of a freak show.

On national television.

So I probably wouldn't feel like I wanted to 'protect' them from a 'broken heart' because they have already chosen this bizarre way of finding long lasting love.  A freak show on television.

National television.

Actually, I wouldn't want to be any part of it and would let them know from the get go.

It's got to be hard to see your *kid* up on the screen being a sloppy second---over and over again.

Grown men pining for a rose.  Handwringing and stressed out because 'she's the one'.  LOLOLOLOL

On national television.

I always say I'll watch it, if, when I click on the channel someone is crying.  And that was the case last week.

But I think the woman was crying because it looks like she got stung by a bee on the mouth.  (I hope that didn't happen....)

....on national television.

Re: New Season of the Bachelorette

This is on tonight too. In the promo Jesse said something to the effect to Rachel that Gabby wasn't coming she would be the only bachelorette. I wonder if Gabby left the show? One of the guys was giving Gabby a hard time like she would be cheating on him if she went on any more dates. Has he not seen the show, this is how they do it if he wasn't okay with it he shouldn't have signed up for the show ( I do remember a season when a bachelorette left the show early because she made her choice and they brought someone else in). It is unfair to expect a marriage proposal after just 12 weeks or so and not spending much time together. The proposal should be taken off the table, just let the couple continue to date and see where it goes.

Re: New Season of the Bachelorette

Maybe it is because I am chronologically old that I don't think either Bachelorette is ready for marriage; I think both are too emotionally needy to know what a marriage really is all about.

IMO any of the men would be better for either Bachelorette than either Bachelorette would be good for any of the men.

The more I learn the more I realize how little I know.

Re: New Season of the Bachelorette

Jesse was over live at ESPN covering Clemson Georgia Tech. He looked way happier there than I have seen him all season long over at The Bachelorettes.

Did anyone notice Gabby was wearing, I guess, such a skimpy two piece bathing suit that they blurred it out and put a black thing across it? I guess too much of her tush was showing!

My advice to the remaining bachelors would be "run away as fast as you can!!!"

Rachel comes off as incredibly immature and needy.  Married to her would be completely draining.

To me, Gabby, according to her story, had a very difficult time growing up and had a tumultuous relationship with her mother.  She seems to be crying incessantly that is she so damaged that someone can ever love her?

She needs to work through many things with a good therapist before she will be able to be in a successful relationship.

This show should do away with the engagement thing, let them decide if they want to pursue the relationship in real life, and come back at a later time to see how things are going.

I love reading these comments. Bet they're more entertaining than this season was. Even if it was the most dramatic season ever.

@Etoile308 I usually don't watch these shows but two bachelorettes intrigued me. I suggest they never try this again, I don't think it worked. Every season is the MOST dramatic season ever!

I can't watch Gabby speak.  Her top lip only moves when she smiles.  Maybe it has been "enhanced."

@Mersha , IMO, your post nailed it for me.  I hope they don't do another of the 2 bach's ever again.

The needless "waaaa, waaaa, waaaa" is tiresome.  Either they're smiling or crying.

@Jordan2 , yes, I caught the blackened out part of Gabby's bottom; I thought it was in poor taste, but then, I'm old.

As for Tino, I think he'd make a great match for Rachel as he spends alot of time crying the blues.  Same as the other guy Erich with Gabby.  Have none of these guys ever watched the show after the many seasons it has been on?

Every time I watch this show, I ask myself why I do; and yet again, I continue to watch LOL.  I guess just mindless entertainment.

Is anyone going to watch Bachelor in Paradise?
