I don't think it's fair to the contestants that don't get showcased. Last night they showed snippets of the battles of a few of the pairs. I think to myself , who are they, I don't get to form a connection with them.  I really think they're getting shortchanged.

I agree @Jordan2.  I feel sorry for those people.  I just finished watching tonight's episode.  There are some really good singers this season.

Last night both Blake and Jennifer picked their three contestants to go to the lives. I was five for six in my picks. I think Jennifer made a huge mistake picking Shi'Ann over Chris Weaver. Also I wouldn't have been mad at Blake if he had chosen Mitchell as he is talented and easy on the eyes!

@Jordan2  I think Blake should have chosen Mitchell or his comeback artist that played the fiddle.  I was surprised at his choice.

@tends2dogs

As someone who was really disappointed to hear she was doing the show I've been nothing less than impressed with her insights and instincts!

It's been a very pleasant surprise!

Edited to add that I'm referring to Miley...

ITA, Chris and Noah have been my two favorites all along. I love Chris’ voice. FTW, I hope for Noah.

I wasn't surprised at  Jennifer's picks.  If I'm remembering who they are correctly, her thought may have been that Chris and Davon may cancel each other out.  If I remember correctly they both have that same kind of style...both fabulous and she could've gone either one of them I think.

As far as Blake, I wouldn't be surprised if this year he finds himself the first one with no horse in the race.  Not overly impressed with any of them to the point that I think they may win.  I think his only shot of keeping one in would've been keeping Mitchell.

I think Davon has by far the best voice of anyone on the show this year.  The way he sang the song from Dream Girls was so beautiful.

If you haven't watched the show tonight stop reading now! Adam picked his 3 contestants for the lives tonight. It was a tough choice as he had 4 good contestants. I was disappointed he didn't choose Emily. I believe Adam is going to the lives with his 2 steals.

Who did Adam pick?  Somehow, my TV remote switched to another channel, and I missed it.  I have to wait to find out when the show is posted on On Demand or on the website for The Voice.  I am so upset I missed it, after watching the entire show until that point.  So he didn't pick Emily Luther?  Big mistake in my opinion.  She's up there in my mind with Davon and Keisha and Brooke.  They are my favorites.  I cannot believe she was not selected to move on to the finals.

I think Miley made a big mistake choosing Ashland (?) over Moriah. She's the one who is 16 years old, the rocker with the huge voice. I was shocked she didn't move on to the lives
