The premium chanels offered 10 year old movies so I went to Netflix. 

I get my CDs postage paid, and DH streams on the computer.  Much better than $350.00 for the cable plan for what was old stuff!

Thankful I only have their Basic plan and it's not going up.

Also enjoy Hulu and Amazon Prime when it comes to TV, movies, and original series.

I pay $9/mo which isn't changing.  Stream on one TV in the house at a time.

Netflix is still a great value for me.  I recently cut the cable cord, saving $80/month and I have had NF for several years now.  Currently added CBS All Access and when I have watched everything there I want to catch up on I will subscribe to Hulu for a while.

Have had Netflix for quite a while now. They have been my source of movies, new and old ,since I rarely went to the movie houses. One of the things about Netflix that is amazing to me, is that whenever there is a problem at any time, you can call them and a person actually answers the phone and makes things right. This company really tries to correct any problem.

I was lucky.  I originally had 3 months free - Netflix.  I thought it came from Amazon Prime but I found out later the freebe was from my car dealership as a "thank you."  At the beginning of the "shutdown" I took my car in for a scheduled checkup.  Dealerships "service dept" was considered "essential service" in my state.

Nearing the end of my 3 monhs freebe, the dealership extended the freebe for 9 more months.

I have the basic plan-$8.99.  I found this out recently after checking my Netflix account.

I currently have Verizon FIOS.  I cannot cut the cord until 2021 Nov as I am under a 2 yr contract.  Still up in the air about cutting the cord.

I will probably stick w/Netflix after my cable contract is up because the basic plan is "cheap" for now.
