I already knew the story, but this was a good movie.  Wait till you see who plays Loretta's mother.

Re: Netflix: Patsy and Loretta

Thanks for posting.  I think this is something I'd enjoy watching.  Had no idea it was on Netflix.  Going to watch for sure.

Is this movie about Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn?

Re: Netflix: Patsy and Loretta

Is this a new movie? Seems like I saw a movie several years ago about their relationship and falling out. But I'll watch it. Both of these women had remarkable careers and lives. Very sad that Patsy's life and career ended way too soon.

I remember that relationship from the movie Coal Miner's Daughter.

@qualitygal  who played her mother?  I'll probably never see this.  I looked at the cast list and couldn't find this.

@MamaWick did you ever see the show, Northern Exposure?  The brunett pilot lady, whose name I'll have to look up because it escapes me right now is the mother.

@qualitygal Thanks.  That's Janine Turner.  I saw her name in the credits, but her character's name wasn't Webb which is Loretta's maiden name.
