For those who subscribe to Netflix, I watched two very good Christmas movies last night. They're not the regular Christmas type movies, just movies that take place during Christmas. First, watched "The Noel Diary", then moved on to "Christmas on Mistletoe Farm". My attention span is small and I usually am on my tablet or reading magazines, or just fall asleep in the middle and miss things but can pick back up whenever I wake up again. These two really caught my attention and I was able to actually watch all the way through.

Re: Netflix Christmas Movies

Thank you for the recommendations.  Were they Hallmark-style movies or were they a little more sophisticated?

@Carolina925, I just googled these two movies, and they both sound like my cup of tea. Thanks for the rec !

Re: Netflix Christmas Movies

@Carolina925 Thanks for the recommends...I have Netflix and will check them out.

Hallmark movies I sometimes put on just to have Christmas themed things on as I go about other things, but they don't hold my attention to sit and watch lately, so these seem like interesting alternatives.

@ValuSkr , a lot more sophisticated, in my opinion. Not sappy

@Carolina925   Thank you. I watched the trailers.  They sound family-friendly enough to recommend to my 80-something mother.

Re: Netflix Christmas Movies

I don't usually watch hokey Christmas movies, but the Noel Diary takes place in CT (I'm in CT) so I watched it. As hokey Christmas movies go, it wasn't bad. I actually liked it better than the Lindsay Lohan hokey movie, Falling for Christmas. I have fulfilled my quota for hokey Christmas movies this season.

@10sluvrLOL. I reserve the right to use it for things other than movies however. For example, when describing the items the Q calls "Christmas decor."
