Neil Simon movie

Watching a movie written by Neil Simon.  Marsha Mason and Kristie McNichol are in it. I notice in these films that a lot of background music is saxophone.  Also in some of the other B & W movies, background music can be with clarinet.  A very young Kevin Bacon is in it too.

 

Do you notice that there's certain music in backgrounds of shows?

This is one of my favorite Marsha Mason films. I saw it in the theater multiple times.

 

Her performance was outstanding.   And the under appreciated Joan Hackett was robbed of her Oscar.
