Nashville will have a show tonight on the CMT at 9:00 pm.  The regular show will start on

January 5.

NASHVILLE 9 p.m. on CMT. This former ABC series changes its channel and its tune in this sneak preview of the first half of its two-hour Season 5 premiere. The drama begins with the crash of Juliette Barnes’s plane — sending Rayna Jaymes on the road to self-discovery. Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning Rhiannon Giddens joins the cast. The season officially begins on Jan. 5.

A special sneak peek at episode one will also be airing tonite on TV Land at 10 to 11 ET. Same show that airs at 9 on CMT.

I thought it was great.  Anxious to see the full 2 hour premiere in January.

It also aired on VH1 last night at 10 ET. I enjoyed it too, good acting all the way around.

I am wondering if the 2 hour premier will start with a rerun of last nights show or be all new.

Glad to see Nashville fans here.  I came across the TV Land preview show last night when it was half over.  Have to check and see if this may re-run on CMT before the premier.

Looking forward to a new season.

99% of the time the 1st hour will be the sneak peak shown previously.  2nd hour will be "new."
