Re: Naomi Judd died

[ Edited ]

According to the announcement by Ashley & Wynonna, they lost their mother "to the disease of mental illness" which sounds like suicide to me!

Very shocked and saddened by her loss.  Like another poster, I was aware that she had hepatitis C -- and I thought she looked less like her typically beautiful self at the music awards -- but I certainly did not think she was close to death.

May she rest in peace.

This video brought tears to my eyes. I love Wynonna's voice, (couldn't discern Naomi's).

Wynonna Judd, left, and Naomi Judd arrive at the CMT Music Awards on Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. (AP Photo/John Amis)

This supposedly was taken on April 11th and as was already mentioned at the country music awards.

@Love my grandkids  🙄 And since I wrote deliberately "sounds to me like" did you think I don't realize that?🙄

Apparently they were going to be going out on one final tour, that Billboard article is April/2022. Sad.

Some posters in these forums should remember her before the next time they want to call someone who lives with mental health issues "cuckoo", "nuts", "crazy" and the other terms I often read here.

She was in her 70's, the age group of many of you. She was a human being who must have been suffering. You never know what someone is living with. Famous or not. Could be your best friend, your neighbor, a forum poster. Try compassion.
