Re: Name Some Shows You'll Watch Even When You Come In The Middle Of It and Have Seen It Before

mecall you are right. I guess maybe producers would say Gray's Anatomy would be similar to St Elsewhere and that new show with Tea Leoni where she plays (me gritting my teeth, "Madam Secretary". I don't care for Tea Leoni and I just feel like that show is a platform for Hillary running for President.

None of the Secretary of States in recent years (in my opinion) are worthy of a show like that. I just don't think they can make this show very good.

I'd like to see West Wing come back. It was fast moving and intelligent and believable.

Happy and Golden.....glad to see you posting!

Golden, I saw Rob Lowe being interviewed about his book a few days ago. He was asked about West Wing. He said that was one of his favorite shows to be on. He said he learned so much while working on that show.

Re: Name Some Shows You'll Watch Even When You Come In The Middle Of It and Have Seen It Before

I know this show I'm about to mention isn't for a lot of people, but for some reason I just love it. It's been playing in the morning and every time I click over to it I lay in bed and laugh.

It's so stupid it's stupid funny.......are you ready....."My Name Is Earl". Now I know the guy who produces, directs, and originated it is the same guy who does several 'different' shows and he's actually from the Washington, DC, Maryland area.

I've heard him on our local (DC) radio shows. The guy is very un-Hollywood and a funny guy on his own. He also guests on many other shows. Something Oswald, I think.

Happy, you mentioned "My Cousin Vinnie". I love that show too. I agree with you about changing the channel when it's on. I came upon it maybe a year or so ago. Now I know I've watched that thing at least 5 or 6 times (same thing, seldom saw it from the beginning) and there I was watching it, yet again.

There's a famous quote from that movie.....do you remember what it is? Whenever someone says My Cousin Vinnie, do you remember what they say? I'll check back to see if you remember. Ha!

My two adult daughters when we all get together have quotes from many movies. It's like a game to them. They're always quotes the movies are famous for.

Re: Name Some Shows You'll Watch Even When You Come In The Middle Of It and Have Seen It Before

OP, I wasn't sure if you meant TV shows or movies ......

I don't watch TV in real time, just record and watch later, so I'm not a channel surfer. Besides, that's what the TV Guide is for! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I must admit, though, I never get tired of the Bourne movies ..... and, as an aside, a few years ago Matt Damon said he'd NEVER do another Bourne movie ............ and then about 6 months ago, he said he wouldn't mind "revisiting" that character and doing another movie! I guess he didn't get the big bucks he thought he'd get afterwards! {#emotions_dlg.crying}

Happy from New York, you reminded me, Cinderella Man, yes. I watch Investigation ID all the time too and if you mean the show Deadly Women, I'm with you there. It's also the only show I can't watch either. Love that Joe Kenda!
