they did give some closure to dr kapoor, but i hope it is not a permanent closure to his character. still hoping that he comes back eventually.

I just can't stand Iggy.....I mean Dr Kapoor was on life support and if in real life probably dealing with issues both physical & psychological.  I just can't imagine a psychologist screaming he won't be his friend if he doesn't pick up....he's upset because of the party....wah wah 

This show seems to be floundering a bit.... luckily the show highlights the personal interactions rather than the medical aspects as the technical advice is below par 

depite all the above, I like the show because it is based on the real story of Bellevue in NYC & those who worked there treating the underserved in the past and present day.

Babies! Babies! Babies! That seemed to be the theme of all the featured stories last night. Looks like Floyd is ready to get back in the dating game. Max used a unconventional method to help a mother-to-be deliver her baby the way she wanted. Iggy stepped up to help another woman accept that she was pregnant. Good episode.

Yes, I did enjoy last nights show more than the last few weeks, this one was back on track , well done !!!

What is the deal with Lauren's friend, she is a doctor, what happened to keep her away from practicing, I must have missed something.

@Shelbelle  I wondered the same thing.  They have been dragging the Uber driving homeless doctor story for quite awhile with no progression.

Hopefully, after she moves in with Dr. Bloon, things will pick up.

Leyla is from Pakistan where she was a doctor but she is not a licensed doctor in the U.S. She brought a female patient into the ED and kept returning to check on the woman. Lauren couldn't figure out what was wrong with the patient who was getting progressively worse. Leyla gave Lauren her diagnosis which Lauren ignored until finally she was out of options and decided to try Leyla's suggestion; it turned out to be the right treatment. After that Lauren thanked her and begrudgingly admitted to Leyla she had saved the woman's life. Subsequently when Lauren realized Leyla was homeless she offered her the storage closet. This pretty much brings you up-to-date. Hope it helps.

Yes, it helped, didnt realize she was from Pakistan and that she was not licensed in the US, all else was explained about her in one episode. I bet if Dr Kapoor were around he would have been happy to help her. Thanks again.

@Tique  Thanks for your reply.  I did recall most of it but it seems like the writers are not sure what they want to do with this character.

It seems like each week she heads to the designated closet and that is it.

Hopefully, we will find out more in future episodes.
