 I remember when this story was on HLN and Nancy Grace quite frequently. Very sad story indeed.

I watched it because nothing else was on. I thought I knew everything. I didn’t. The FIL bagging very personal items of Susan’s, the video in the safe deposit box and Michael were all new to me.

He had Susan's used tampons in ziploc bags with dates on them! EWWW! And also cotton balls she used to take off her makeup. What a weirdo!

I also think the Powell men were very sick.... their behavior exhibited it in so many ways.  

I could feel the helplessness in Susan's parents.... they loved those boys so much.  

Sad that Susan wanted to get married so badly that she didnt make a good choice.  And her religion was such that it seemed to encourage her to stay in her marriage.
