To the extent one can consider yet another NCIS franchise 'new'...

I love watching all of the NCIS series but I'm not too sure that I am going to watch this one.

I've been watching NCIS Hawaii, it's a good one.

Watched it last night. Thought it was boring and trying too hard to be NCIS. I'll try next week but not sure if I'll keep watching.

@candyagain  I'm not sure if it was boring per se but alot going on w/setting up the new characters, new hierarchy w/both NCIS & Australian law enforcement working together & I didn't like that it seemed to me alot was we have rules but to heck w/them going to do it this way instead.  Like you I'll try it again next week as I think it has possibilities.

We watch(ed) all the NCIS shows.  Each show has had its own theme song until now.  Sydney's theme is the original show's song with a different arrangement and tempo.  Nothing wrong with it, but I immediately noticed.

I tried for about 20 minutes. Couldn't make myself keep watching. Between the acting (deer stares) and the lacklustre script, I gave up. I would consider trying again, but I think this one will go nowhere. They shouldn't have canceled the successful NCISs they already had.

I lasted about 20 minutes as well.  The wooden faces and typical formula writing for the characters gave me constant eye-rolls.

That's it for me.

I dvr'd it, however, after one minute, I gave up.  Was never a fan of any of those shows.  Guess I won't start now. Cat Indifferent

I watched the entire episode and found it disappointing.

The woman who is the head of the NCIS team just didn't appeal to me at all.  It was a combination of the way the character is written and the actress herself.

Then, the plot wasn't clear to me - at the end of the show I wasn't sure how or why things had happened.  The Russians injected the sailor who died - when and how?  How would they know that would end up giving them a supposed opportunity to get on board?

And there was a second sick sailor but he wasn't radioactive?  So how did he fit in to the whole thing?

I just had too many questions at the end.  But given the lack of new shows, I'll probably give it a second try next week.
