Watching the preview, I thought how hard it would be to play the part of the guy who finds Ducky.

I watched and thought it poorly done.

I generally liked the episode, although I would have liked to see more flashbacks with Ducky and former cast members.

I liked the scene with DiNozzo and Jimmy.  I thought Michael Weatherly played that well.  However, I was very disappointed that Mark Harmon didn't show up for at least one short appearance, given how close Gibbs and Ducky were for so many years.

It was OK. We liked the retrospective parts. The underlying mystery  wasn't all that interesting.

David McCallum was a talented actor and contributed a lot to the success of NCIS.

I thought the episode and story it told about Ducky and his stories was wonderful.  I was very disappointed that only Tony came back.  So, so many people were missing...Gibbs, Ziva, Abby, Jack, Ellie (but she's on the run), even Gerald.

I read that Brian Dietzen (Jimmy) got to speak with David McCallum on the phone a few days before he died.  McCallum was in the hospital and not feeling well, but he was able to speak with friends and family before he passed.

As for the tribute episode, Dietzen said that the NCIS team had all possible scenarios on the table, including having all cast members come back.

Michael Weatherly has always done a great impression of David's accent, so Dietzen was very happy with the scene they had together. Weatherly's appearance was a 'one and done'--no further plans for him to return on a regular basis.

Well, Abby was sort of there. She sent an appropriate (for her) BLACK floral arrangement. Smiley Happy
