Peacock launches on July 15. According to the TV Guide there are 3 tiers you can choose from. One is free with 7,500 hours of programming. Another tier is $5 a month, ($30 per year if you sign up before July 14, and $50 after), you get the free content, plus access to more shows, all of the new originals and early access to NBC's late-night talk shows. Last for $10 a Month ($80 per year through July 14, $100 after), you get all of the above without ads. I'm wondering, do I really need this? Is anyone interested in this streaming service?

Not interested in another paid subscription. I have Hulu Plus. Amazon Prime, Roku, a free year of Disney and Apple TV. When my year is up on Apple and Disney I will be cancelling them because I don't find them all that compelling. Between the other three and antenna TV I have more than enough to watch.

We have it included with our Xfinity package. Nothing at all on it that I'm interested in. Maybe if they put L.A. Law on there.

Read about it in TV Guide. Not sure we need another option, but I do enjoy watching old shows.

NOPE! I already get NBC through cable.

@Jordan2 I do not have either cable or off-the-air access to NBC, so I am potentially interested. However, I can't seem to find out what is actually included. They are promoting some of the entertainment programs, but I'm really only interested in news and informational programs.

Jordan, thank you for all the info on this. I didn't yet know about the tiers, etc, and have been wondering what the deal is. Initially I thought it was just a 100% pay thing and that was a bit annoying. You pay big bucks for cable and then have to pay more for something that s/b included. I'll give the free one a look-see to start.
The new HBO one I thought was totally a pay service but have now seen that it seems to replace HBO Go, which is included if you pay for HBO. I was glad to see that.

I get Premium through Comcast and there isn't a single show I want to watch that I can't already see on free tv.
I assume they will be getting more stuff. I think they said they will have all 30+ years of SNL.

I don't think I'll get it, although offering a price break if you sign up for a year by July 14 is a good deal, too bad more streaming services don't do this. I have Disney + and Apple TV for free, when they expire I will cancel both.
