I have liked having the different hosts. It will,take me a few years to settle in with whoever is the non-Alex.

I think having rotating hosts would give the show the feeling of being perpetually in transition. No stability.

@Kachina624 - Yes, I agree. They need to pick a permanent host and have the transition completed.

So far, I have liked Ken Jennings, Buzzy (had no idea who he was) - he kept the game moving right along and seemed confortable with the camera.

Who is Mike Richards? I guess I missed a few shows when my grands were visiting. I second no Burton - this would not be a good fit.

Agreed! I honestly didn't care for them. They tried too hard, and you can see that most of them didn't feel comfortable in that position.

The majority of the guests hosts, most of whom were journalists with well established careers, were obviously not auditioning for the job.

I am sure the position will go to one of those with close ties to the show.

@Johnnyeager , I agree with you. The journalists were surely not auditioning for the job. I think the producers just needed to try and keep up their ratings while they were in transition to find a permanent host. Sadly, my TV station here ran the Olympics every night so I missed Levar totally. I'm thinking of all that I've watched...and I've not watched them all...I liked Buzzy best, and I didn't care for him as a contestant! Go figure! It would be interesting to know if Alex had someone in mind before he passed.
