Tells a heroic story that was all but lost to history, until now. The film recounts how WWll bicycling idol Gino Bartali, physician Giovanni Borromeo and other Italians worked

with Jewish leaders and high-ranking officials of the....

Catholic Church, risking their lives by defying the Nazis to save thousands of Italy's Jews.

Narrated By: Isabella Rossellini

I did read about this awhile ago.

It is always encouraging to read about those who had the courage to help and stand up against the Nazis!

I've always loved watching Isabella Rossellini.

I always enjoy historical stories and this one sounds good.  It is important that we know about these unsung heroes who risked their lives to save people during the war.  TV should do more of those type shows instead of so many which are on now.
