It is actually coming next fall.  Previews start Sept. 9, 2020.  Tickets went on sale today.  We will have ours before the day is done.  Can't wait to see it!!

I actually thouight it was 2019, saw Sutton on The Talk in July and she said it will debut in the fall, I just assumed she meant THIS fall!! It was never one of my faves, but with this duo it cant miss!!

The Music Man w/Robert Preston and Shirley Jones is one of my all time fav movie musicals.  I can watch it over n over n over.  The music is so clever - I esp. luv the Marian the Librarian scene.

 

Anyway I never knew a version xisted w/Matthew Broderick.  Who played Marian?

 

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster sounds like a winner to me.  Would be hard to beat the movie cast of the original but I sure would give it a go.

This was a TV version aired in 2003 with Matthew Broderick and Kristen Chenowith as Marian.
