What a wonderful farcical movie set in Baroque France!

Adult themes.

Enjoyed seeing a younger Annette Benning; Colin Firth Meg Tilley and Maggie Smith!

You might have to be in the mood for this one due to the elaborate language that was used set back in their day!

Loved it for years. Prefer it over Dangerous Liasons with John Malvovich.

Love the Bening in the bathtub scene and what Colin does.

Colin was at his hottest in that film.

Only reason it was not a hit movie was that it came into the theaters about 6 months after the Dangerous Liaisons movie starring John Malkovich, Glenn Close and Michele Pfeiffer. I always thought Valmont was more believable. Let's face it Colin Firth is a more believable seducer than John Malkovich. I always called Valmont the less dangerous Dangerous Liaisons.
