I just finished watching "Man on Wire"...the 2008 documentary about Philippe.   The movie is pretty much spot-on with the documentary...which Philippe is narrating.  

 

I wonder how Philippe made a living?  I know the older gentleman paid for his preparation for the WTC walk, but Philippe & his team flew from Paris to NY many times for preparation.  Can't imagine that was cheap...even in 1970's standards.   Maybe there are things that should be left to wonder, yes? Smiley Happy

 

'Man on Wire' is a free movie on Amazon Prime.  Highly recommend.
