I tried to rent this from Apple TV but you could only buy it so I got it from the library.  I have to say I was disappointed.  All this floating around space.  All I can say is I m glad I didn't pay to see it at the theatre.  LM

Umm with a movie name of "Gravity" what did you think the movie was about? I loved this movie! I've watched it several times.

@Lilysmom

I also thought this was the cheesiest  movie ever. Predictable and unbelievable.  Star power influences so many.  Take it off the Imax screen and it's laughable.

It's been on HBO and I haven't been able to sit through much of it.  I got way too bored.  I also felt glad I hadn't paid at the movies to see it.

I saw it on HBO and I have to say I was disappointed, too.  I wanted to like it but it was not that interesting to me.

4 of us saw it.  2 loved it and 2 disliked it.  As my saying goes, think goodness we are not all alike or we would be like the Stepford wives (hope I would not be a wife LOL) or in present day TV it would be similar to living in Wayward Pines.  Rejoice we are all unique

I liked it, but didn't love it.  I don't think it should have received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture, but I did like it.  It's been awhile, but I remember Sandra Bullock really made me feel what it would be like to be in her position -- terrified!  And I'll post the following comment in a Spoiler tag, in case others reading don't want to be spoiled:

Spoiler
George Clooney's character sacrificing himself for Sandra's character was sad, and gave me an eerie feeling, too.  Smiley Sad
