I bet she's in better shape, with more energy, than many women half her age.  Or even younger.  (Look at the obesity epidemic in this country.  Not a judgement, just a fact.)

I'll never get why someone else's personal choices bring out such snarky comments.  And it's almost always from other women.

@Venezia  - I defnitely agree with you that Cher is not your average 76 year old.  She does look better than many women half her age and probably has more energy too!  I'm happy for her!

Hi @JaneMarple  - I believe what @chrystaltree  is saying is that Cher is a big mega-superstar known by everyone.  Alexander has not reached that type of fame and super stardom - yet.  Maybe one day.

I can understand that @San Antonio Gal but one can have fame and be broke at the same time. I learned long ago that producers were just as rich as the super stars they work with but hiding in plain sight from us regular people. LOL.

They both look happy, and that's what counts. Cher likes to change her style but I like her better with black hair rather than blonde. The dark makes her look more exotic. 

I recently watched the movie "Moonstruck" on Laff channel, never had seen it before. Good movie, and Cher was quite pretty.

Look for someone OLDER than 80?  Seriously?  

You may not have dated recently, so here's something to consider ... older men will always want younger women. 

If an older man goes for a woman around his age, you can be sure he's actually looking for a woman who''ll take care of him in his declining years and death. A caregiver.  Sometimes that's cheaper than Long Term Care (nursing home) insurance.

In Cher's own words, explaining that "on paper" it seems ridiculous, but it just works for them.  Part of an interview with Kelly Clarkson:

She clarified: "He's fabulous, and I don't give men qualities that they don't deserve. He's very kind. He's very smart. He's very talented, and he's really funny. And I think he's quite handsome."

"I just like somebody to make me laugh," Clarkson agreed.

The former "American Idol" star went on to ask Cher whether it's true that older men are "intimidated" by her.

"If I hadn't met younger men in my life, I would have never had a date, because older men just didn't like me all that much," she told Clarkson. "Do you know what I mean?"

"I've had a couple boyfriends who were hovering around my age, but they just didn't like me for some reason. Younger men don't care if you're, you know, funny or outrageous and want to do stupid things and you have a strong personality."

"I'm not giving up my personality for anybody."

And she posted on Twitter:

"I’m Not Defending us. Haters are Gonna Hate…Doesn’t Matter That we’re Happy & Not Bothering Anyone."

LOL David Geffen was a music company exec, too, who chose her, and that didn't last long. As a matter of fact, except for the bagel guy, all of her paramours have been "in the business" and successful in their own right.

She seems to be enjoying her life and when you get to be in your high 70's, you should enjoy each day and do what you can to make the most of your days!  She makes her own way and doesn't have to ask anybody for anything or ask anyone for their approval.  If she's happy and not hurting anyone, then bravo for her!

Awww...These pics made me smile!😁 I recall watching her variety show in the 70's as a young girl, and was mesmerized by her BEAUTY, wardrobe, and talent! If that BEAUTIFUL smile is any indication of her happiness-KUDOS to her!!!👍😊
